About Lawspeed

ARC The Association of Recruitment Consultancies

The Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC) was set up by two of the Lawspeed Directors in 2009. ARC is dedicated to providing protection and clarity in the increasingly complex area of recruitment via the shared knowledge and values that a membership arrangement offers. Although other trade bodies exist it was felt that the time was right for a true alternative voice to be heard within the industry.

ARC's main aims are twofold. The representation and protection of recruiters' interests, and the provision of a unique range of member benefits.

Representation

A major instigator to the formation of ARC has been the planned Agency Worker's Directive. Recruiters will be aware that this planned legislation has the potential to significantly damage the industry and to date many have felt powerless to fight back and have their voice heard. Questions have been raised as to whether enough has been done to secure the interests of recruiters who bring billions of pounds to the UK economy. ARC's objective is to bring together proactive recruiters to form a vehicle for significant influence and change.

Benefits

ARC will look at ways to provide value for money with a broad package of support that is not on offer elsewhere. As well as representation these benefits include;

  • Helpline
  • Model operating templates
  • Legal updates
  • Networking meetings
  • ARC code of conduct
  • Club services and discounts

ARC membership is intended for the benefit of all recruiters from start-ups to multi-nationals. Subscription packages are highly competitive at all levels. For more information or to sign up visit www.arc-org.net or call 01273 777997.
