Our management team is a dedicated group of professionals drawn from legal and commercial backgrounds.
Adrian Marlowe, our Managing Director, practised as a solicitor* for 20 years before setting up Lawspeed in 1997. He is responsible for developing our extensive portfolio of products and services, including the widely used Lawspeed contract templates.
Adrian is regarded as a leading authority on "recruitment law", has headed up various group representations to government since 2001 and is chair of the trade body the Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC). Adrian was the driving force behind the ARC's critical and highly successful stance on the Agency Workers Regulations. Adrian is also a member of the Genesis Initiative, a cross parliamentary SME support group, and is one of two appointed representatives responsible for reporting on the Agency Workers Regulations to the European SME group UAPME, which feeds into the European Parliament.
Ravi Murphy, Director, has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business
Management and passed the solicitors' qualification exams with a
distinction. Before joining Lawspeed in 2000 Ravi gained extensive
experience in all areas of risk management having spent 12 years working
for a blue chip insurance company and a Lloyds syndicate. She has
considerable experience of underwriting, risk assessment and claims
handling as well as a significant expertise in recruitment law.

specialises in contractual arrangements, commercial strategy, risk
management, compliance issues and data protection in addition to
recruitment and employment law issues.
Rebecca Marlowe, Director went
into recruitment as a graduate and spent 15 years in the industry,
first as a consultant then in sales management. Joining Lawspeed in
2003, now a co-director, she brings an understanding of the
practicalities of the recruitment process as well as the operational and
management issues faced by recruiters.
Rebecca is responsible for marketing and internal support functions.
Theresa Mimnagh, Associate Director qualified
as a solicitor* in February 2004 and previously worked in private
practice as an employment lawyer. She joined Lawspeed in 2005 and
specialises in employment law, recruitment law, discrimination,
employment status, employment contracts and policies as well as tax

Ben Grover, Senior Legal Consultant qualified
as a solicitor* in October 2008 and worked at two firms in their
company commercial divisions before joining Lawspeed in June 2009.
Ben specialises in recruitment and contract law, tax, IR35 and is an expert on agency regulations, including the Agency Workers Regulations. He is also the external policy advisor to the Association of Recruitment Consultancies.
Sofie Lyeklint, Legal Consultant qualified as a solicitor*
in November 2013. She speaks fluent Swedish and Mandarin and specialises in employment
law. Prior to returning to the UK to train with a specialist employment
law firm, she worked for two international real estate advisory firms in China
advising on institutional real estate investments and global corporate services
Sofie has a particular interest in solving day-to-day employment issues and
is committed to reaching the best commercial outcome for our clients. She is an
expert on restrictive covenant disputes, discrimination, bullying and
harassment, investigations and disciplinaries, redundancy and business
restructure, as well as Employment Tribunal claims, drafting and advising on
employment contracts, employment manuals and settlement agreements.
