Since 2000, the date the tax laws known as IR35 were implemented, we have provided advice and compliance services across a range of legal issues for contractors.

Our credentials include the following:

• We were the first service provider to provide effective IR35 contracts for use by agencies with their contractors, devised and available from the end of 1999
• The terms in our contract were used by an agency in the first public IR35 case, Lime IT, and relied on to establish that LimeIT was operating outside IR35. The specific terms were named by the Tax Commissioner as crucial.
• We brought the first IR35 insurance policy to the market.

Tax is not the only aspect since early on we recognised that contractors also need commercial advice. The result is that thousands of contractors, interims and freelancers from across all sectors have used our services to secure their business and shore up their tax arrangements.
