Why should I rely on a Lawspeed umbrella contract?

Whether you use your own contract or rely on an umbrella company own terms you may not have maximum protection against risk. Lawspeed umbrella contracts provide that protection. The contract is largely future proof and ready for up coming changes in legislation.

Why does Lawspeed include a directors guarantee?

We have included a directors guarantee since 2016 to help provide compliance assurance by the umbrella company. This is also now recommended by the EAS. Only the director of an umbrella company know its compliance operations and so obtaining a guarantee supports the umbrella credentials. The guarantee is optional and can be removed easily if not wanted.

Do I need to reissue the contract every time I place a worker?

No. It’s a framework agreement, so it only needs to be issued and accepted once. Each placement is then covered by a short assignment confirmation form.

How does the Conduct Regulations opt-out work?

The Lawspeed Umbrella Agreement includes a built-in opt-out, automatically captured through ProTerms. This ensures you remain compliant with regulations while reducing admin.

Do I have to use Proterms?
