A really helpful and insightful Seminar, having Industry Experts in the room with full knowledge of the legislation was key; and sets it apart from other events attended.
Lawspeed Seminar | 15th April 2026 | 1pm-5pm | BMA House, London
An essential seminar for recruitment leaders ahead of proposed reforms to the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations.
The Conduct Regulations have shaped fair treatment in the UK labour market since 2003, setting minimum standards for temporary and agency recruitment. Now the government has launched a consultation to modernise these rules, with potential change to areas including pay transparency, worker choice, transfer fees, opt-outs and the responsibilities of agencies and employers.
The proposals should be considered in the light of other changes that affect supply businesses, such as the new joint and several liability rules affecting relationships with umbrella companies, and guaranteed hours requirements under which hirers are obliged to offer permanent contracts to supplied workers.
This is a rare opportunity for the industry to hear from expert lawyers and government representatives (DBT) together, learn and make your voice heard to help influence the future of recruitment.

Very well organised event with the appropriate people present with excellent industry knowledge giving presentations.
Timely and insightful. The session helped cut through speculation and focus on what agencies need to be thinking about now from both a legal and commercial perspective.
Whether you place temporary staff, supply contract workers or engage in multi-party supply chains, this discussion will help you anticipate change and position your business to thrive.
